C & L Imperial was inaugurated in 2000 by Mr. Chien-Hung Lin who has 40-years of cooking Taiwanese cuisine. C & L Imperial serves authentic Taiwanese cuisine and snacks. By customers’ word-of-mouth, C& L has attracted loyal customers including Taiwanese students who have studied in NYC, local Taiwanese and Taiwanese pitcher Wang Chien-Ming in MLB. The restaurant wall is pasted with photos of celebrities who have enjoyed dining in C & L and Lin’s written encouraging quotes that catch customer’s attention. The restaurant has been recommended in The Michelin Guide since 2009 that makes it an important channel for foreigners to develop a better understanding of Taiwan through tasty delicacies.

「北港臺菜」餐廳成立於西元2000年，是由擁有40年臺菜經驗的老闆林建宏親任主廚，採道地的臺菜及臺灣小吃，在顧客的口耳相傳下，從本地留學生、旅外僑胞到大聯盟球員王建民等人都是店裡忠實顧客。店內牆上貼滿名人用餐照片及老闆手寫的各式勵志短句，不時吸引用餐及等餐的顧客的眼神；從2009年起至2013年均獲得米其林推薦，形成外國人士透過美食認識臺灣的重要途徑呢！
