In 2000, the first flagship Guppy House was established in Cerritos. In recent years, branches of Guppy opened in Anaheim, Irvine, Hacienda Heights, Cerritos, the second flagship Guppy House, and Temple City successively. As a compound restaurant suitable for all age groups. The main reason for owner Mr. Li-Yuan Lee to name the restaurant after “guppy” lies in his memory of always making fun of guppies in ditches during childhood. The characteristic that guppies are highly prolific symbolizes expectations for restaurant expansion. Lee also put forth the restaurant interior landscaping design ideas.
「大肚魚」餐廳於2000年成立第一間位於Cerritos旗艦店，近年陸續有其他分店位於Anaheim、Irvine、Hacienda Heights、Cerritos二店、Temple City等店，是適合所有年齡層的複合式餐廳。取名為大肚魚，係因為餐廳負責人李立元先生幼時常於水溝逗弄大肚魚的童年回憶，而大肚魚繁殖力旺盛的特性，也象徵對於展店的期許，店內特殊的園藝造景也是由李立元先生親自打造的喔！
